Hi, I’m Joris Zaadnoordijk  

  Born in 1975 and raised in a little village called Uitgeest in the Netherlands.

  For as long as I can remember I’m fascinated by nature, animals and the outdoors.  

  I shot my first pictures on film, but didn’t get hooked on it …. I missed the immediate feedback!  

  So when I got my hands on a digital camera with a screen, the world opened up for me!  

 

  I have been seriously photographing for over 20 years now.  

  At first I shot everything I got my eyes on, but later I focused on landscapes, animals and  

  macro-photography ……. Basically everything that nature has to offer!  

 

  Currently I’m also very passionate by travel and street photography.  

  It’s great to see, watch and capture the everyday life of people, other cultures  

  and the different surroundings which are characteristic to a specific location or country.  

 

  For a few years I’m also photographing below the surface, during my dives.  

  Under water you find a very beautiful and peaceful landscape, with great flora and fauna.  

  The completely different way of photographing underwater is a nice challenge as well.  

 

  For most of my nature shots I use a DSLR camera with a bunch of lenses and filters.  

  I use a large sensor compact for travel, street and diving photography.
